The dinner is nearly ready, the guests are on their way, and there’s nothing to pour. Benvenuti, and relax. Wine delivery in Kuala Lumpur means a proper Italian bottle can be at your door in about an hour, chosen from the same shelves we stock for our own tables.
Here’s what we deliver, how quickly it arrives, and how to choose well when you’re ordering in a hurry.
Wine is one of our specialities, and our wine selection covers the range of the Italian table. We choose bottles the way we choose everything else on our shelves, for honest quality at fair value rather than for a label, which means there is something here for a Tuesday supper as well as for an occasion:
Because we’re a grocer as well as a kitchen, you can add everything else the evening needs to the same order: cheese, charcuterie, olives and fresh bread, all in one delivery.
Within the Klang Valley, delivery takes about one hour, packed and handled with care. Order before our same-day cut-off of 6:15pm and it arrives the same day; after that, it comes the next. Note that we don’t deliver on Sundays or public holidays, so plan Sunday gatherings on Saturday.
Beyond the Klang Valley, we ship to Johor Bahru, Melaka, Ipoh and Penang, where timings are longer and a flat outstation delivery charge applies. Our delivery coverage guide sets out areas and charges, and our same-day delivery guide covers the timing in more detail.
Delivery is free on Klang Valley orders over RM400, and on outstation orders over RM600, which is worth knowing if you’re stocking up or ordering for a party.
The pattern is always the same, and it’s rarely planned far ahead:
If you entertain even occasionally, a small standing collection saves you every time. Three bottles cover almost everything: a dry sparkling wine for arrivals and celebrations, a medium-bodied red for tomato-based dishes and pizza, and a crisp white for seafood, cheese and warm evenings. Add them to a grocery order rather than making a separate trip, and you’ll never be caught out again.
If you’re ordering quickly and don’t want to think too hard, these rarely disappoint:
New to Italian wine? Our Italian wine for beginners guide explains the regions and grapes without the jargon, and our wine with pizza and pasta guide matches bottles to what you’re actually eating.
A bottle sent to someone’s door is one of the easier good gestures. Enter the recipient’s Klang Valley address at checkout, and consider pairing the wine with something to eat alongside it, since a bottle with a wedge of Parmigiano and some charcuterie feels far more generous than wine alone. Our charcuterie board delivery guide covers pairing a board with a bottle.
A few minutes of care makes the bottle taste the way it should. If you’re drinking a white or sparkling wine that evening, get it into the fridge as soon as it lands, since about two hours brings it to a good temperature and a rushed twenty minutes in the freezer rarely ends well. Reds are best kept somewhere cool rather than at true room temperature, which in our climate is warmer than any Italian cellar ever intended.
If you’re building a small collection instead, store bottles lying down in the coolest, darkest spot you have, away from the kitchen’s heat and out of direct sunlight. Wine dislikes warmth, light and vibration far more than it dislikes waiting.
Order online from our grocery store, pay by card, e-wallet or bank transfer, or choose cash on delivery. Alcohol is sold only to customers of legal drinking age, and our driver may ask to see identification on arrival, so please have it to hand.
Browse the wine shelves, add whatever else the evening needs, and we’ll bring it across the Klang Valley within the hour. We’ve been the neighbourhood Italian kitchen in Bukit Bintang since 2011, and the same bottles we pour for our guests are the ones we send to your door. If you’d rather drink yours with dinner cooked for you, we’re open Monday to Saturday. Salute.
Frequently asked questions
Q1. How quickly can wine arrive? Ans. About an hour within the Klang Valley, if you order before our 6:15pm same-day cut-off. After that, it comes the following day.
Q2. Do you deliver wine on Sundays? Ans. No, we don’t deliver on Sundays or public holidays. Order on Saturday for a Sunday gathering.
Q3. Is there a minimum order, and when is delivery free? Ans. Delivery is free on Klang Valley orders over RM400 and outstation orders over RM600. Below that, a delivery charge applies based on your area.
Q4. Can I have wine delivered outside the Klang Valley? Ans. Yes, we ship to Johor Bahru, Melaka, Ipoh and Penang with a flat outstation charge. See our coverage guide for timings.
Q5. Can I send wine as a gift to someone else? Ans. Yes, just enter their address at checkout. Adding cheese or charcuterie to the order makes it feel far more thoughtful than a bottle alone.
Q6. Will my wine be damaged in transit? Ans. We pack bottles carefully for the journey. If anything arrives damaged, contact us and we’ll put it right.
Q7. Can I add food to a wine order? Ans. Very much so, and most people do. Cheese, cured meats, olives, pasta and bread all travel in the same delivery.
Q8. Do I need to be there to receive it? Ans. Yes, since alcohol must be handed to someone of legal drinking age, and identification may be requested on arrival.
Q9. What if I don’t know which bottle to choose? Ans. Tell us what you’re eating and we’ll point you to something that suits. Our wine for beginners guide is a good starting point too.
Q10. How do I order wine for delivery in Kuala Lumpur? Ans. Browse our wine selection, add anything else you need, and check out. We’ll deliver across the Klang Valley within the hour.
